A  RARE  GEORGE  III  CARVED  MAHOGANY  CENTER / TEA  TABLE,     circa 1790 .

The molded and shaped one-board top of exotic grained Santo Doming mahogany, with elaborately carved gaddroon edge, above a carved scrolled frieze, raised on elaborately carved legs headed by lions mask carving on the knees, ending in gracefully carved and executed claw and ball feet.
     In excellent original condition with no repairs or restorations.
