A NARROW American Mahogany Chippendale Chest, c. 1785.
An exquisite chest displaying exceptional quality and proportions of similar pieces attributed to the finest cabinetmakers working in and around Philadelphia in the late 18th century.  The waist measurement of this chest is only 29 1/2" . Truly a superb example of furniture made during this American time period.  In general good condition with an old faded surface and original brasses. Feet are original, glue blocks are replaced. Meas: 29 1/2" W, 33" H, 20" D.
